ARCULARIUS, HENRY.—Age, 21 years. Enlisted, August 6, 1862, at Chester, to serve three years. Mustered in as private, Co. A, September 5, 1862; wounded in action, May 3, 1863, at Chancellorsville, Va.; promoted corporal, prior to May 1, 1864; absent, missing in action, May 12, 1864, at Spotsylvania Court House, Va., and at muster-out of company.

ARDEN, GEORGE DE PEYSTER.—Age, — years. Enrolled, August 20, 1862, at Goshen, to serve three years; mustered in as first lieutenant and adjutant, September 5, 1862; mustered out January 14, 1863, for promotion to major, Tenth Artillery.
     Commissioned first lieutenant and adjutant, October 3, 1862, with rank from August 20, 1862, vice William Silliman promoted.

ARMSTRONG ANDREW.—Age. 17 years. Enlisted, August 13. 1862, at Walden, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. H, September 5, 1862; promoted corporal, July 16, 1863, sergeant, prior to October, 1864, sergeant major, November 15, 1864; mustered out with regiment June 3, 1865, near Washington, D.C.

ASHLEY, JOSEPH.—Age, 18 years. Enlisted, August 7, 1862 at Goshen, to serve three years; mustered in as private Co. D, September 5, 1862; mustered out with company, June 3, 1865, near Washington, D.C.
On July 24, 2000, I received the following email from Joy L. Krieger:

Joseph Ashley was my great-grandfather. I have copies from the Adjutant General's Office Washington DC April 15, 1875 which were filed regarding Joseph Ashley's Pension that state that he was in Company D. He was in the "124th regiment of New York Volunteers to serve 3 years or during the war and mustered into service as a Private on the 5th day of September, 1862 at Goshen NY in Co D, 124th Regiment of New York Volunteers to serve 3 years or during the war. On the Muster Roll of Co. D of that Regiment for the months of March/April, 1863 he is reported absent sick in Division Hospital Sept, Oct 63-Present detail as guard at Div. HD Qtr May June 64 absent detached as guard at Division Hd Qtr-- Mustered out honorable discharge June 3/ 63- No evidence of wound or injury at date alleged on Co rolls. Return for May/64 about Division xxx guard. The documents are signed "J.P Martin--Assistant Adjutant General".

ASHMAN, ROBERT.—Age 18 years. Enlisted August 4, 1862 at Goshen, to serve three years; mustered in as private, Co. ?, September 5, 1862; wounded in action, May 12, 1864, Spotsylvania Court House, Va.; mustered out, June 21, 1864 from Harewood Hospital, at Washington, D.C.; also borne as Robert A.
