     His entry on page 4014, volume V of Phisterer's New York in the War of the Rebellion, 1861-1865 Albany, J. B. Lyon, State Printers; 1912, reads as follows:

RAYMOND, CHARLES H., age 28 years; enrolled at Albany to serve nine months, and mustered in as First Lieutenant, Company A, October 25, 1862; mustered out, September 30, 1863; commissioned First Lieutenant, November 24, 1862, with rank from October 25, original.

     His entry on page ?? of Annual Report of the Adjutant-General of the State of New York for the Year ????, Serial No. ??; Albany, J. B. Lyon, State Printer; ????, reads as follows:
