Alfred G. Stratton, Sergeant, Co. G, 147th NYSVI


This is a CDV image of Alfred A. Stratton, who served in Company G, 147th New York Volunteer Infantry. He was a double amputee after being wounded at the Battle of Petersburg. After losing both of his arms during the war he traveled around selling these CDV's to make his living.
