Passenger Depot at Head of Railroad St.

Old #3 leaving the depot about 20 years before I came on the scene (maybe 1910). The "yellow barn" is on the left, and the engine house is on the right. The brick house peering out between the depot and the engine house was, when I was a child, occupied by Mr. Holder, a manager of the Skaneateles RR. All four buildings are now gone. Railroad Street has been Fennell Street since 1924.

And a Ticket to Ride!

This ticket would have gotten you to Skaneateles Junction, where you could have boarded a train on the Auburn branch of the New York Central.
